It is a polyester fabric with a reflective surface. Not intended as a safety feature. Iron-on tape has thickness 0.17 mm.

Recommendation: Iron without steam through the fabric for 30 seconds, set at middle temperature. After cooling down, remove the foil, then iron over it for another 10 seconds. First wash after 48 hours.
